One of Cape Breton’s busiest theatrical performers, Maynard Morrison has performed his comedy on TV, radio, and for live audiences across the country. His characters, reflecting a Cape Breton-eye view of everyday matters, are consistent favourites wherever he appears.

Maynard was a featured performer and popular host of the Gala at the Ha!ifax Comedy Fest for many years. He has been seen in that role by over a million viewers on the CBC national network. He has also appeared in a number of television shows and films.

An accomplished writer and director, Maynard was a founding member of the Cape Breton Summertime Revue and has collaborated on many productions with wife Bette MacDonald including the popular holiday touring productions of Tis The Season.

Maynard is a popular performer at conventions and conferences, bringing audiences to tears of laughter with his delightful down-east view of life.
