Bette MacDonald, Screen Nova Scotia and Gemini Award winner, has been making Canadians laugh on TV, radio and stage for more than 20 years.

Critics have called her “a superlative actress, a polished ad libber… making the audience howl with delight” and she has received accolades for her one-woman shows and numerous television appearances.

Bette has co-hosted the ECMAs, appeared at the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival and was a long-time favourite headliner at the Ha!ifax Comedy Fest. She performed with Symphony Nova Scotia in a unique comedic collaboration that sold out an unprecedented four nights.

Bette, along with partner Maynard Morrison has won standing ovations and critical acclaim for their hilarious holiday show ‘Tis The Season, which began in 2007 and continues to be a seasonal touring staple throughout Nova Scotia.
